Meet Olivia Cracknell
Providing Compassionate, Evidence-Based Therapy for Adolescents and Adults
Olivia Cracknell is a Registered Psychologist and Intake Specialist at Inspired Minds Wellness Centre. She is dedicated to helping clients build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and develop the skills to manage life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.
Born and raised in Calgary, Olivia completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Mount Royal University, followed by her Master of Counselling degree at the City University of Seattle. She is registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists’ and brings both professional expertise and genuine empathy to her work.
Clinical Approach and Focus Areas
Olivia provides therapy for adolescents and adults, using a collaborative and client-centred approach. She supports individuals with a variety of mental health concerns, including:
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma and stress-related disorders
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Insomnia/sleep disorders
Her practice integrates Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) with other evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Olivia’s sessions are structured yet compassionate, helping clients identify their strengths, manage emotions effectively, and move toward meaningful change.
Professional Philosophy and Training
Olivia strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, understand their emotions, and gain practical tools to navigate relationships and daily stressors. As both an Intake Specialist and Clinician, Olivia helps clients find the right therapist and treatment plan for their needs, ensuring each person receives care that feels aligned and purposeful. She is a registered provider with the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program for First Nations and Inuit clients. Outside of her professional work, Olivia enjoys spending time with her dog and cat and exploring Alberta’s outdoors.
