At Inspired Minds Wellness Centre, clear policies help ensure that therapy sessions run smoothly and that all clients have reliable access to care. These guidelines outline what to expect when scheduling, attending, or adjusting an appointment.

Appointment Scheduling

When you book a session, that time is reserved specifically for you. Our clinicians do not double-book appointments, which allows each session to remain focused, uninterrupted, and clinically productive.
Appointment reminders are sent out via email; however, clients are responsible for keeping track of their scheduled sessions and notifying us of any changes.

Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
If a session is cancelled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full session fee will be charged. This fee is not reimbursable by insurance or benefits plans, and the amount may vary depending on your clinician’s rate and whether you are using private pay or insurance.

Why This Policy Is Important

Short-notice cancellations limit our ability to offer that appointment time to another client who may be waiting for services. This policy helps maintain fairness, transparency, and availability for all individuals accessing therapy at our clinic.
